Gregory M. (bass)

Greg grew up in Europe, Ontario, and several different places in BC. He has played in bands since an early age and upon settling in Vancouver enjoyed success with fellow bandmate Alec in the band "Junedog". Despite having been a singer/songwriter/guitarist for several years (even fronting a band for a while) , Greg's first love has always been playing bass. While Alec and Kim bring a certain sort of finesse to the music, Greg's bass playing brings the "evil" to the band. Being influenced by heavy and dark music such as Tool, Rage against the Machine, and Nothingface, Greg bashes the hell out of his instrument on stage never being content to just be part of the background. He believes that the bass should be able to stand alone as an interesting instrument and not simply be overshadowed by the guitar and vocals. Greg has also recently started a side-project called "Piece of Resistance" which allows him to further explore his heavier musical roots. Being the bassist means being the butt of most of the band's jokes, which Greg takes in stride while quietly "fighting the power" and striving to rebel against "the man".
